Line Cook

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bathhouse is seeking a versatile Line Cook to join our restaurant team. In addition to preparing dishes and maintaining stations, this role includes assisting with prep cook and dishwasher tasks to support smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality food preparation and contribute to a clean, efficient, and collaborative kitchen environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare food for service. 
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary prep and supplies.
• Answer, report to, and follow the Kitchen Manager and Shift Manager. 
• Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with all DOH regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Assist with porter tasks, including dishwashing, trash removal, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a line cook, Restaurant cook, or Prep Cook.
• Education: High school or equivalent (preferred)
• Able to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be an organized thinker with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must be reliable and professional. The attendance policy is strictly observed.
• Ability to work independently and be a team and a team player.
  
• Candidates with flexible availability will be prioritized.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Job Type: Full time. Weekend availability required.
• Pay: $22-$24 per hour.
