Tin's is an ambitious new cocktail bar concept set to open in the Lower East Side in 2026. Led by an award-winning ownership team, we're seeking driven Line Cooks to help launch and operate this innovative hybrid space.

If you're an ambitious hospitality professionalready to take a step forward in your career, this role offers a rare opportunity to gain elite experience while helping build a restaurant from the ground up.

The Role

We are hiring Line Cooks to execute the menu during service. You will be responsible for your assigned station — prep, execution, plating, and cleanliness. Consistency, speed, and attention to detail are expected every shift.

Responsibilities

  • Execute your assigned station during service — accurately, consistently, at speed.
  • Maintain complete mise en place for your station before, during, and after service.
  • Follow all recipes, plating standards, and portion controls established by the Executive Chef.
  • Communicate clearly with the expeditor and fellow cooks — call-backs, timing, allergy flags, 86s.
  • Maintain station cleanliness and food safety standards throughout service.
  • Rotate and label all products. First in, first out. Date everything.
  • Assist with daily prep as directed by the Sous Chef.
  • Break down and deep-clean your station at the end of service.
  • Report equipment issues, product shortages, and safety concerns to the Sous Chef immediately.
  • Participate in menu tastings and team training as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years line cook experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Strong knife skills and foundational cooking technique — sauté, braise, grill, fry, wok.
  • Understanding of food safety, cross-contamination prevention, and proper storage.
  • Ability to work clean and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with high-volume service and stamina across full shifts.
  • Takes direction and adjusts in real time.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • NYC Food Handler certification

Preferred

  • Experience with Chinese, Shanghainese, or East Asian cuisine.
  • Professional wok experience.
  • Pre-opening or new concept kitchen experience.
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification.
  • Fluency in Chinese is a big plus
