POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Line Cook at Smokin Jerry's, you'll play a key role in preparing and plating dishes that live up to our reputation for quality and flavor. You'll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and food safety standards are met- all while keeping the tiki energy alive in the back of house.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Smokin Jerry's recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during, and after service.
- Monitor food stock and communicate shortages or prep needs to the kitchen manager.
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Assist in prep work, inventory, and closing duties as assigned.
- Support a positive, team-driven kitchen culture-no egos, just good energy.
