Morse Hospitality Group is looking for dependable and hardworking Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, follows recipes and food-safety standards, and takes pride in preparing consistently high-quality meals.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Set up and stock assigned kitchen stations before each shift.
Complete food preparation, including chopping, portioning, seasoning, and preparing ingredients.
Maintain consistent food quality, portion size, taste, and appearance.
Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-storage procedures.
Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized.
Monitor ingredient levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
Work closely with other cooks, servers, and managers to ensure timely service.
Properly label, date, rotate, and store food using FIFO procedures.
Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
Follow all restaurant policies and instructions from kitchen leadership.
Qualifications
Previous line-cook or restaurant-kitchen experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Ability to remain focused and efficient during busy service periods.
Availability to work [required shifts, including weekends or holidays].
