Overview
Lune is hiring a Prep Cook / Line Cook for the upcoming summer season. We are a small, chef-driven restaurant focused on thoughtful technique, disciplined execution, and exceptional seasonal ingredients from Cape Cod and New England.
This position is ideal for cooks who care about craft, organization, and constant improvement, and who want to work in a focused kitchen where standards are high and every detail matters.
Lune has been recognized with a James Beard Award nomination and other regional accolades, and we re looking for cooks who want to be part of a small team pushing for excellence every service.
Duties
Execute precise daily mise en place including vegetable fabrication, seafood and meat prep, stocks, sauces, and composed components
Work a station during service with speed, awareness, and consistency
Maintain clean, organized stations and disciplined prep lists
Assist with butchery, fish breakdown, preservation, and special projects as needed
Communicate clearly and maintain composure during high-volume service
Requirements
1 3+ years of professional kitchen experience preferred
Strong knife skills and attention to detail
Ability to stay organized and composed during busy service
A genuine interest in learning technique and improving as a cook
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
operate in a zero ego enviroment
