Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and ticket times
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked station
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage requirements
- Maintain consistent food quality and portion control
- Communicate effectively with chefs, managers, and other kitchen team members
- Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other kitchen responsibilities as needed
- Follow all company policies and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Nights and weekends are required
- Holiday availability may be required based on business needs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow recipes and direction
- Commitment to food quality, cleanliness, and workplace safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and move between workstations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely use knives, kitchen equipment, and hot cooking surfaces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with heat, steam, noise, and temperature changes
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
