Line Cook Prep Cook

1899 Indoor golf is looking to hire multiple experienced line cooks for our new location in Reminderville, OH with an expected open date of November 1st. We are looking for someone who has a passion for food, great attention to detail, takes pride in their work, has experience preparing food, can follow direction and recipes. Experience with a TurboChef a plus. 

Responsibilities include:

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Experience:

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Experience using a TurboChef a plus

Today Ottawa Park still stands and services the golfing community of Toledo. That same year, on April 11th to be exact, Coburn Haskell, a golfer from Cleveland, Ohio, and Bertram G. Work, an employee of the B.F. Goodrich Company in Akron, Ohio, received a patent for the first golf ball made out of rubber.
