Line Cook (Full-Time)

$18.00 - $26.00 per hour | Benefits Eligible

Racine Country Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen while preparing high-quality food for our members, guests, banquets, and special events.

Our kitchen offers a professional, team-oriented environment where cooks have the opportunity to expand their skills while working alongside experienced culinary professionals.

Schedule

  • Primarily Tuesday through Saturday, approximately 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Occasional Sundays and holidays as needed

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Work stations including sauté, grill, pantry, and banquet production as assigned
  • Assist with food preparation, including cutting, chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients
  • Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently
  • Monitor food quality, temperatures, and cooking times
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
  • Properly label, store, rotate, and maintain inventory to minimize waste
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with banquet and special event food production
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and fellow kitchen team members

What We're Looking For

  • Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, banquet facility, or quick-service environment preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions consistently
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience

Education
