Position Overview
Septembers Taproom & Eatery is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well under pressure, and takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
- Ensure all food is plated consistently and presented professionally
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Assist with prep work, inventory management, and kitchen organization as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow proper kitchen procedures
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and major sporting event days
- Valid Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one upon hire
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Compensation
Hourly $19 to $23
