LINE COOK
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your primary duties include cooking and plating dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards, ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
THE DUTIES OF A LINE COOK INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
- Cook dishes to business standards.
- Follow recipes and create a consistent product.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Prepare ingredients for use during the shift.
- Follow directions from Chef.
- Set up workstations.
- Cooking various dishes using the sauté method, including meats, seafood, sauces, and vegetables.
Requirements
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- SERV Safe Certified
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven working experience as a cook.
- Possess strong cooking skills, particularly in the sauté method.
- Preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and meal plans
- Preparing sauces, soups, and other food items using standard recipes and methods
- Preparing special dishes or meals for guests with special dietary needs or restrictions
- Keeping a clean work environment
- Sauté and Grill experience required.
