Line Cook
The Club at Las Campanas is seeking an experienced and passionate line cook to join our culinary team. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in preparing exceptional food, and enjoy working with a talented team, we'd love to hear from you.
This position plays a key role in delivering outstanding dining experiences for our members and guests through restaurant service, special events, and banquets.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Execute food preparation and service with consistency and attention to detail
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations
- Assist with inventory management, food storage, and product rotation
- Set up and break down kitchen stations before and after service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Support banquet, restaurant, and special event culinary needs
- Assist with ordering and kitchen operations as needed
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional culinary experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques
- Experience cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and scratch-prepared menu items
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during busy service periods
- Knowledge of food safety, storage, and sanitation practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work all stations, including sauté, grill, fryer, pantry, and broiler
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain as required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work safely around hot equipment, sharp tools, and commercial kitchen machinery
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
