Line Cook/Sous Chef

Shipmates Restaurant & Sports Bar is the OLDEST Restaurant/Bar in Cerritos, and we are looking to HIRE NOW! Full-time can be guaranteed and we are looking for qualified candidates to join our team. Cooking and *DINING* Restaurant experience is REQUIRED, and we would like a candidate who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Working weekends, ability to work daily 6–8-hour shifts and flexibility in scheduling is preferred but a set schedule is the goal. Shipmates would like to hire a candidate who is professional AND willing to learn new things and works well with others. Creativity, monitoring inventory, food control, punctuality and quality control are attributes we welcome. We look forward to hearing from you and setting up an Interview ASAP!

• 5 years of Restaurant/Dining Kitchen experience
• Flexible Availability
• Sufficient Knife Skills
• Sauté, Fryer, Grill, Prep experience
• Professionalism
• Good Communicator
• Food Handler's Card
