Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef, maintain assigned station independently Follow established Recipes, portioning, and presentation Taste food to assure quality Meet time standards and coordinate with team's schedule. Helps team meet time standards Leave station better than you found: replenish, clean, maintain side work Correct use of personal protective equipment Professional appearance Hot food is served hot and cold food is served cold Take in food orders, check inventory, date and label according to policy. Crossover is common. Never assume that your prep will be used by only you. Rotate stock, be aware of food life, prepare food to be frozen or cook it to avoid waste, repurpose food without sacrificing quality. Record waste and spoilage when it occurs. Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in-coolers, and all storage areas Cross-train when possible/required to develop a broader understanding (where applicable) performs attended-station service in front of customers.
