Prepares food order for the restaurant and assures the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing the following duties:
- Prepares all food items prior to and during mealtime periods including catering orders according to food orders
- Prepares, slices and chops food products
- Uses deep fryer, electric choppers, stove, oven and grill. Mixer's blenders steamers, grater and other preparatory utensils
- Follows portion and quality control standards of the menu.
- Ensures kitchen appliances and equipment have been cleaned and turned off at the end of the day
- Maintains work area in a sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with state health and safety regulations
