Job Summary
We are seeking a
Line Cook to join the team at our busy restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare and assemble falafel, shawarma, kebab and all other menu items according to Falafel Stop recipes and standards
- Slice, chop and portion vegetables, proteins and toppings for the line
- Prepare sauces, dips and spreads
- Fry falafel balls and other fried items to order using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Warm and portion pita bread to order
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Serve Safe or Food Handler’s Certification
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
