Line Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety standards. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional culinary support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a kitchen or dietary department, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus but not required.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
