Line Cook

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team at a prestigious private golf and country club. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has experience managing multiple stations while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and chef specifications.
• Work assigned stations, including:
  • Grill
  • Sauté
  • Fry
  • Pantry (salads, cold appetizers, desserts, and garnishes)
• Maintain consistency, quality, and proper portion control.
• Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
• Assist with prep work, inventory, and kitchen closing duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Position Qualifications

• 1–3 years of line cook experience in a restaurant, country club, hotel, or similar high-volume kitchen.
• Experience working grill, sauté, fry, and pantry stations.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Availability: Ability to work any day of the week, any shift, holiday except Christmas
