Line Cook

At Hibachio, our Line Cooks are an important part of delivering the fresh, flavorful food our guests expect. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, and can maintain quality and consistency during busy shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Hibachio recipes and standards
• Work efficiently on the grill, fryer, and other kitchen stations
• Maintain proper portion sizes, presentation, and food quality
• Keep your station clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
• Follow food safety, sanitation, temperature, and handling procedures
• Complete assigned prep work and restock ingredients as needed
• Communicate with other kitchen and front-of-house team members to keep orders moving
• Help maintain a clean kitchen, including equipment, floors, work surfaces, and storage areas
• Follow Hibachio uniform, attendance, and workplace standards
• Assist other team members when needed to provide fast and accurate service

What We’re Looking For:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable and able to arrive on time and ready to work
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and instructions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift restaurant supplies and food products
• Previous kitchen or line cook experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
