We are seeking responsible, self-sufficient people to fill our line cook position. Full or Part-Time available. Tuesdays-Saturdays
Responsibilities & duties include:
arriving as scheduled, ready to work
preparing your designated station for dinner service with all necessary supplies (equipment as well as food - requiring chopping vegetables, cutting meat & preparing sauces
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff (if applicable)
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Skills
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within restaurant or food industry settings
Knife skills for efficient ingredient prep and food handling
Knowledge of menu planning and culinary techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
