Job Summary:
Line Cook is responsible for food preparation on hot line and cold line with multiple stations for dining room, banquets, and room service menus.
Job Specifications:
Expected Pay Range: starting $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience as a Cook I or Cook II.
Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-time year round
AM or PM shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
Job Responsibilities:
Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified standards.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Job Requirements:
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and knife handling.
Prior culinary experience preferred but not required. Willing to train.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and equipment.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation.
Able to multitask effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Open to learning and committed to consistency and quality.
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and execute daily recipes and menus.
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
