About Us: Rye Tavern is a farm-to-table restaurant committed to seasonally-driven cuisine and culinary craftsmanship. We work with local purveyors, cook with intention, and take pride in technique from our charcoal grill to our house-made charcuterie.
The Position: We're hiring line cooks for multiple stations. Full-time positions are our priority, but part-time opportunities are also available for the right candidates.
What You'll Do:
- Execute high-quality dishes across multiple stations (grill, saut , garde manger, etc.)
- Maintain consistency in preparation, cooking, and plating
- Work with seasonal ingredients and house-made components
- Prep mise en place and maintain station organization
- Collaborate with the culinary team to uphold our standards
- Adapt to a dynamic, high-volume environment
What We're Looking For:
- Experience preferred, but we'll train passionate, dedicated cooks at any level
- Strong knife skills and fundamental cooking techniques
- Ability to work clean, fast, and efficiently under pressure
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for quality food and restaurant craft
