Lead – Quality Inspection Operations

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead to oversee daily operations for a team of Inspectors, Sorters, Samplers, and Weighers. The Lead will help ensure employees are performing their assigned duties accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous lead, team lead, quality, inspection, or production experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and overseeing a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide direction to Inspectors, Sorters, Samplers, and Weighers.
• Monitor daily work activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with coordinating employee assignments and daily workflow.
• Ensure employees follow established procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor inspection, sorting, sampling, and weighing activities.
• Communicate work expectations and provide guidance to team members.
• Identify and communicate issues or concerns to management.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
• Assist with addressing employee questions and operational concerns.
• Support management with daily production and quality needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous Lead, Team Lead, Supervisory, Quality, Inspection, or Production experience required.
• Experience overseeing or directing a team preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and ensure others are following established processes.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday day shift with occasional weekend work.
