Position Summary
Factory6 is seeking a Line Lead to support daily operations on our fill, bottling, and packaging lines.
Our Line Lead plays an essential role in keeping production running smoothly, maintaining pace, assisting with coordination, and ensuring that products meet Factory6’s quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
This position is ideal for an experienced production associate who enjoys hands-on work, understands manufacturing flow, and is ready to take responsibility for coordinating line activities under the guidance of a Production Supervisor.
What you'll do
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist daily activities on assigned fill, bottling, or packaging lines.
- Maintain consistent production pace to meet daily output and quality goals.
- Support line setup, changeovers, material verification, and cleanup between batches.
- Perform quality checks during runs and promptly report any issues to the Supervisor or QA.
- Provide direction and on-the-job support to newer associates to ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Verify correct materials, labels, and packaging components are used for each product.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with Factory6’s safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor basic equipment performance and notify the Supervisor or Maintenance of any mechanical issues.
- Promote teamwork and communication to keep production lines efficient and on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging (nutraceutical, food, or consumer goods preferred).
- Solid understanding of production line flow and basic equipment operation.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Proven reliability and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Prior experience on a bottling, packaging, or assembly line.
- Familiarity with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and production documentation.
Work Schedule
Full-Time Schedule, 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation:
Hourly rate $18.00.
