Now Hiring: Line Operator

Location: Kingsport, TN

Pay Rate: $19.48 per hour

Night Shift: 6 PM - 6 AM | Sunday-Thursday

Line Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Experience operating production or packaging machinery.
• Familiarity with GMP and sanitation standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment troubleshooting ability.
• Experience using ERP or production control systems is preferred.
• Basic math skills for production measurements and counts.
• Ability to operate machinery and production equipment consistently.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts.
• Safety-sensitive position compliance required.

Line Operator Job Duties:

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot processing and packaging machinery.
• Operate control panels, computer terminals, and ERP systems for production processes (mixing, blending, cooking, packaging).
• Package finished goods (bagging, boxing, labeling) to specification.
• Perform in-process quality checks per GMP and customer specifications.
• Record production data, including weight, quantity, and output metrics.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs.
• Support production schedules and output requirements.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with 6S and sanitation standards.
• Operate multiple production lines and equipment stations as assigned.
• Execute standardized work instructions and production procedures (POKA systems).
