Load and unload customer parts and/or baskets into the 110130140 line in a safe, timely, and efficient manner using a crane or hoist. Complete visual inspections and quality checks before processing and alert Quality Personnel or Team Lead about damaged, dirty, or contaminated parts.
Understand and troubleshoot basic line or crane/hoist issues. Complete all necessary production reporting forms per quality instructions.
Basic use of computers as needed. Assists with loading and unloading duties as needed, both on and off the production line. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
May require working flexible hours. Carries out other duties as directed. Must be able to safely work in a variety of potentially hazardous situations while adhering to Quaker Houghtons Life Saving Rules.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. May be required to obtain certifications/licenses.
Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience
Minimal to no experience in manufacturing environment required.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Ability to work independently once trained. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrate intermediate reading skills. • Ability to effectively present information. • Demonstrate basic mathematical skills. • Sufficient skills for data entry, MS Excel, Word, and reporting activities. • Ideal to have basic working knowledge of Internet software, email, word processing, spreadsheets, and project tracking.
Physical Demands
The employee will be required to:
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 70 pounds with assistance. • Stand for long periods and walk great distances daily. • Routinely use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. • May be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. • May be required to work in small spaces and high locations.
