Position Summary:
This position is responsible for setting up concessions and kiosks for Arena events according to department policies and procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Receives, fills and delivers stock orders/requisitions
- Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with department policies, procedures and established standards of service at various outlets
- Responsible for the handling of payment in cash outlets, per established check tendering procedures
- Maintains concession and kiosk inventory and supplies during events
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicates inventory needs and maintenance problems to supervisors
- Breaks down, cleans and restocks concessions and kiosks for the next event
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fast food or restaurant service
- Previous experience with point of sale (POS) tendering
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in turning over the concessions for an event
- Complete knowledge of concession and kiosk food and beverage offerings
- Thorough knowledge of point of sale system and cash handling accuracy
Training Requirements:
- Outlet-specific standard operating procedures
- SMART alcohol awareness
- Point of Sale (POS) system
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and reach for the entire shift
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
