The ideal candidate has 2 to 10 years of experience delivering planning and design solutions for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to support meaningful projects, collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and help shape critical community infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, storage systems, pipelines, and related utility improvementsPrepare or oversee engineering reports, technical specifications, construction drawings, and cost estimatesManage projects through design and provide support during bidding and construction phasesSupport design oversight and quality control for project deliverablesSupport permitting and regulatory compliance for municipal water and wastewater projectsParticipate in client meetings, proposal development, and business development effortsAssist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planningAbout YouBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field2-10 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering design, preferably in a consulting environmentStrong experience with municipal water and wastewater systems designProven ability to prepare plans, specifications, engineering reports, and design calculationsKnowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectivelyAH believes our greatest asset is our people.
