Lineboat Pilot

Lineboat Pilot - St. Louis, MO

This is a full-time, exempt-level position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Navigates vessel and ensures safe operation of vessel as to not cause injury or damages.
• Responsible for safety of all crew and conduct safety meetings.
• Familiarity with Sub Chapter M regulations and vessel/crew requirements.
• Complete electronic and paper forms and logs such as: navigation logs, maintenance logs, TMS wheelhouse forms.
• Responds to any situation that would require emergency rescue or transit of persons.
• Coordinate crew changes, fueling procedures, and grocery delivery.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a thorough knowledge of boat operations. Minimum of six months experience as a licensed pilot on Upper Mississippi River, Lower Mississippi, Ohio River, and/or Illinois River.
• Mate (Pilot) or Master's license of Towing vessels upon Western Rivers
• Radar certificate and FCC License
