Seeking a Lineman to perform construction and maintenance of distribution lines and services, including energized lines, under supervision.
Applicants must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years' experience in electric distribution work or a suitable combination of education and training.
- Valid CDL Class A with air/power break certification.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, RUS construction, OSHA codes, and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to interpret work orders and staking sheets, load materials, and install equipment on energized or de-energized lines, overhead and underground.
- Willingness to live in/relocate to the service area and work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
