Position
Description:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
• Lead efforts in developing new strategies for operational efficiencies<\/span>
<\/p>
• Lead Automation strategies using Ansible application<\/span>
<\/p>
• Work with applications teams and stakeholders as the platform technical lead<\/span>
<\/p>
• Work with highly experienced and technical resources<\/span>
<\/p>
• Assist technical leads in implementing systems and software updates<\/span>
<\/p>
• Deploy RHEL patches and platform updates<\/span>
<\/p>
• Document processes, procedures and configurations<\/span>
<\/p>
• Perform daily operations support functions, including problem isolation and
resolution<\/span>
<\/p>
• Provide status updates of task and project updates<\/span>
<\/p>
• Provide system administration support<\/span>
<\/p>
• Troubleshoot platform and application issues<\/span>
<\/p>
• All other duties as assigned or directed<\/span>

Skills
Requirements:<\/span><\/b>

FOUNDATION
FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in Computer Science, Mathematics,
Engineering, or a related field or 11+ years in lieu of a degree.<\/span>
<\/p>
• 7+ years of experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x Platform
Administration (administration, installation, configuration, optimization,
backup & recovery)<\/span>
<\/p>
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/span>
<\/p>
• Experience with the US Federal Government<\/span>
<\/p>
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. <\/span>

• Solid experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administrator<\/span>
<\/p>
• 7+ years of experience with performance tuning & troubleshooting,
identifying and resolving memory, CPU, access, networking, disk I/O, etc.<\/span>
<\/p>
• 5+ years of experience working Virtual Platforms.<\/span>
<\/p>
• 5+ years of experience working with Ansible Playbooks.<\/span>
<\/p>
• 3 years of experience with scripting languages for automation tasks and
deployments (e.g., Bash Shell and Python)<\/span>
<\/p>
• Expertise in the Linux command -line environment<\/span>
<\/p>
• Excellent knowledge and experience with RHEL applications and tools – Ansible,
Satellite, etc.<\/span>

• Experience in providing support for installation, configuration and
troubleshooting of middleware applications<\/span>
