Job Title : Linux Administrator
Location : ONSITE- Plano, TX

Rate Range: $50- $55/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator with extensive experience in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage Unix/Linux server infrastructure and ensure operational readiness across enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8 - 10 years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in Production environments.
  • Experience with OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes distributions.
  • Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Linux systems administration.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience managing Active Directory, User Accounts, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Experience with MVS System Administration.
  • Experience performing changes related to DR, Data center moves, and Capacity management on Wintel platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administration of the Unix/Linux server infrastructure, focusing on Red Hat Linux environments.
  • Perform system configuration, account administration, OS maintenance, and lifecycle support for physical and virtual servers.
  • Support monitoring, patching, and vulnerability remediation in accordance with contract and operational requirements.
  • Implement planned changes such as server configuration, upgrades, repairs, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with Other Service Provider(s) to minimize service interruptions in the infrastructure by taking necessary corrective actions as approved by Management.
