    • Diagnose and resolve system-level issues spanning hardware, firmware, power-on and boot processes, operating systems, software compatibility, network communications, and containers.
    • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance; coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution to minimize downtime.
    • Partner with engineering, IT, facilities, and network teams; maintain runbooks, asset records, rack layouts, cabling documentation, and operational processes.

    What we need to see:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in the technology industry, with practical familiarity with data-center networking standards and protocols.

    • Solid understanding of data-center infrastructure, including racks, structured cabling, network switches, and coordinating hardware from acquisition through deployment.
    • Strong data-center networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and network troubleshooting tools.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

    • Experience managing Linux KVM/QEMU virtualization, multi-user host lab environments, NFS storage systems, Ansible (or similar) automation, and OS or cluster provisioning systems.
    • Experience supporting fast-growing engineering labs or large-scale data-center environments.
    • Experience in setting up server labs, planning capacity, and preparing sites for operation.
    • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, ticketing, inventory-management, and network-management tools.
    • Ability to establish clear, scalable operational processes from evolving requirements.
