Lipscomb Academy, Freshman Boys Basketball Head Coach

The position of Lipscomb Academy Freshman Boys Basketball Head Coach will focus on building players' foundational skills, fostering a positive team culture, and preparing student-athletes for advancement within the high school basketball program.

Duties and responsibilities of the Lipscomb Academy Freshman Boys Basketball Head Coach:

• Teach and reinforce fundamental basketball skills, including ball handling, shooting, footwork, passing and defensive techniques

• Plan and conduct structured practices that emphasize fundamentals and team concepts

• Evaluate player progress and offer constructive feedback for improvement

• Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times, including building positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community

• Guide student-athletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness

• Help create a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement

• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Basketball
