LIQUOR RECEIVING CLERK
Receiver is responsible for checking-in vendor merchandise as it enters the store. This persons primary duties include:
• Working with the vendor • Proofing the order • Preparing the invoice • Confirming case or unit counts • Performing price maintenance • Recording damaged merchandise • Handling returns • Housekeeping in the receiving area • Organizing stock in the backroom and on the sales floor • Inter-store transfers • Record keeping
Additional duties include ordering, stocking, pricing, rotation, merchandising, inventory control, backstock, and cycle counts. Scanner maintenance and housekeeping on the sales floor are also responsibilities. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.
Applicant must be willing to comply with all State regulations regarding the sale of Spirituous Liquor. Available to work anticipated work schedule: Must be available to be scheduled 38-40 hours a week, including mornings, nights, and weekends, based on department needs.
Previous work experience and knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits are preferred but not required. Grocery Stocker experience and computer data-entry keyboard skills are also preferred but not required; we will train.
Physical demands: Repetitive lifting to 50 pounds, occasional lifting to 80 pounds.
