A multidisciplinary team of licensed social workers, chemical dependency counselors, case managers, and nurse practitioners delivers trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Turning Point operates a group home for at-risk youth with 24-hour supervised care and offers a full range of outpatient services, including case management, counseling, intensive outpatient programs, psychiatric services, and telehealth. Role Description The LISWS (Licensed Independent Social Worker – Supervisor) is a full-time, on-site role based in Toledo, OH. This role provides clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals and families receiving mental health and substance use services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual, family, and group counseling sessions; delivering trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; and collaborating with case managers, counselors, and nurse practitioners to ensure coordinated care. The LISWS will supervise and mentor social work staff, support quality assurance and documentation standards, and participate in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed. Additional duties may include involvement in after-school and group programming, telehealth services, and interdisciplinary team meetings to support continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current LISWS license in the State of Ohio (or eligibility for licensure), with strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health and substance use treatment, including individual, family, and group counseling, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.
• \n
• Knowledge and application of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and familiarity with SUD Intensive Outpatient Services and related programming.

• Ability to provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to social work and counseling staff in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• \n
• Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills, including accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• \n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with youth, adults, families, and individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Comfort with using electronic health records and telehealth platforms, along with basic computer proficiency.
• \n
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program; experience in residential or community behavioral health settings is preferred.
