Literacy Intervention Paraprofessional

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide literacy and/or dyslexia instruction to elementary school students.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and administrators.
• Attend training as required.
• Contract will be prorated based on days worked.
• Position is a one year contract for the 2026-2027 school year only.

Qualifications 

• 60 hours of college credit or pass the ParaPro Assessment (given by District upon hire) 
• Flexible 
• Works well with others 
• Patient 
• Responsible

Physical requirements* 

• Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods of time
• Be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry and squat to assist students as needed
• Light lifting (< 20 lbs.)
