Qualifications Required:
Education: Bachelor's Degree and Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Educator License - 316 Reading and/or 317 Reading Specialist License
Experience: Minimum of 3-Years of Teaching Experience
Qualifications Desired:
Prior experience with small group interventions in the area of literacy.

Provides small group and/or 1:1 targeted instruction to students of greatest need, using assessment and research-based best practices for intervention that aligns with the district's literacy framework.
Participates in all required training, at district level, which will include an observation and analysis of intervention sessions.
Uses formative, benchmark and summative assessment data to plan for instruction for individual and small groups of students.
Collaborates with the classroom teacher, coach, and principal at Intervention Team Meetings for the purpose of sharing student data to make decisions regarding selection, monitoring of progress, and discontinuation of intervention services.
Completes additional duties, as assigned by the Associate Director of Literacy Intervention, to meet requirements of federal guidelines.
Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
