Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys in all phases of civil and labor & employment matters
• Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Perform e‑filings in California state courts, federal courts, and appellate courts
• Maintain and organize confidential client files, records, and legal documents
• Manage case calendars, including docketing deadlines in compliance with local and federal rules
• Submit intake and conflicts checks; assist with time entry and client billing
• Coordinate attorney calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and travel
• Maintain professionalism and discretion while handling sensitive information
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience, including labor & employment litigation
• California‑specific litigation experience required
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Strong experience with electronic document management systems and e‑filing platforms
• Extensive knowledge of California and Federal court rules, procedures, and calendaring requirements
• Excellent organizational, writing, proofreading, and attention‑to‑detail skills
• Strong communication, leadership, and client service abilities
• Positive attitude, reliability, flexibility, and a team‑player mindset
