Direct Counsel is partnering with an AmLaw 10 law firm to identify a talented Litigation Associate (1–6 years of experience) to join its highly regarded litigation practice in Chicago.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Assist with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
- Support litigation strategy on complex commercial disputes
- Collaborate with partners and clients on high-profile litigation matters
Qualifications
- 1–6 years of litigation experience at a law firm or comparable legal environment
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative litigation environment
- Admission to the Illinois Bar required

Compensation
The anticipated salary range is $225,000 – $390,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal compensation structures. The firm also offers a robust benefits package for attorneys and employees.
