Prominent full-service nationwide law firm with over 40 years of experience representing survivors of catastrophic and traumatic events is seeking a full-time attorney with 5+ years experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. This role may involve assisting in the Child Victims Act litigation. The successful candidate should be capable of managing his/her own caseload with supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting complaints,
- Responding to and propounding discovery,
- Responding to demurrers,
- Case settlement negotiation,
- Conducting depositions, and jury trials.
- Medical records review
Qualifications:
- Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- 5+ Years of practice experience in Plaintiff personal injury litigation.
- Must be admitted to the NY bar in good standing
- Must have superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well as a team with other attorneys, colleagues, support staff, and court personnel
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to efficiently and professionally correspond with courts and opposing counsel
