Litigation AssociateOur client , a well-established Pacific Northwest law firm with multiple offices, is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its team in the Seattle or Tacoma area. The firm represents individuals, businesses, and public entities across a variety of practice areas and is known for its collaborative, client-focused approach and positive workplace culture.This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience who is looking to take on significant responsibility, work closely with clients, and contribute to a busy and sophisticated litigation practice. Probate and trust litigation experience is welcomed but not required.ResponsibilitiesSupport a busy litigation practice in managing matters from initial investigation through resolution, settlement, or trialDraft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related filingsConduct and manage all phases of discoveryTake and defend depositionsAnalyze contracts and legal documents, including indemnity and insurance provisionsRepresent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedingsDevelop case strategy and assist with risk assessment and client counselingMaintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and objectivesQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar, or eligibility for admissionMinimum of 5 years of litigation experienceStrong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsExcellent judgment, communication, and case management abilitiesAbility to independently manage multiple matters and competing deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with probate, trust, or fiduciary litigation preferredAbility to handle sophisticated litigation matters with limited supervisionStrong client relationship and problem-solving skillsWhy This OpportunityOur client offers attorneys the opportunity to work in a supportive, collegial environment that values professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality client service.
