This is a permanent position that offers excellent growth potential.ResponsibilitiesHandle a caseload of civil defense litigation matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and arguments.Prepare for and conduct depositions, interrogatories, and other discovery proceedings.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support during trials and hearings.Assist with the preparation of trial exhibits, witness interviews, and trial briefs.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including organizing and managing documents and evidence.Attend court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings as required.Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents that may impact ongoing cases.Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil defense litigation.Strong knowledge of civil procedure, legal research, and writing.Proven experience conducting depositions and handling discovery processes.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Equal Opportunity EmployerJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
