Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join their team in Houston. As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the defense and prosecution of complex litigation matters, conducting research, drafting pleadings and motions, and collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategy. Preference for maritime defense experience. 

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the State of Texas or eligible for admission
- 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or government setting
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a litigation-focused practice area, such as maritime defense matters
- Experience with e-discovery and case management software
- Certification in a litigation-related area, such as mediation or arbitration
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
