A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing businesses, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, and other sophisticated clients in complex commercial and civil litigation.
• 3–6 years of commercial litigation or civil litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
• Experience handling complex business disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, shareholder disputes, fraud, construction disputes, insurance matters, and other commercial litigation
• Experience managing all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, written discovery, depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, trial preparation, and appeals
• Experience representing corporate clients, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, developers, or other businesses
• Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted
