Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Managing all aspects of litigation matters from inception through conclusion, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, trial, and appeal.
2. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in the preparation of legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and filing them with the court.
4. Assisting in the preparation and presentation of cases in court or before government agencies.
5. Collaborating with team members and clients to develop litigation strategies.
6. Participating in depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
7. Maintaining current knowledge of changes in legislation that may affect our clients and their cases.
8. Providing timely updates to clients and senior attorneys on case progress and legal advice.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in litigation
4. Demonstrated experience in legal research and writing, with a strong attention to detail.
5. Proven ability to manage a large caseload and work within strict deadlines.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
