Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Salary: $140,000 – $175,000 
Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Job Description:
A growing law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a background in building client relationships, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting depositions, and motion practice. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation in a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of pre-trial case management, including case evaluation and investigation, client communication, discovery, and settlement negotiation

  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda

  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as needed

Requirements:

  • California Bar admission
  • 2+ years of litigation experience required (trial experience preferred but not required)

  • Strong knowledge of discovery rules and civil litigation process

  • Excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
