Litigation Associate Attorney (2–7 Years) | Growing Litigation Practice
Our client, a well-established and growing litigation firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–7 years of litigation experience to join its collaborative and high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience while working closely with experienced trial attorneys on sophisticated matters.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and support a diverse litigation caseload from inception through trial and resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, mediation memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal analyses.
  • Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Work directly with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and develop strong client relationships.
  • Prepare dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
  • Assist with all phases of depositions, including preparing witness outlines and deposition strategy.
  • Support trial preparation by drafting witness lists, exhibit lists, motions in limine, jury charges, and other pretrial filings.
  • Draft trial briefs, post-trial motions, arbitration briefs, and post-hearing submissions.
  • Participate in complex document review projects for litigation, investigations, and government inquiries.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across the litigation practice to develop effective case strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law.
  • 2–7 years of litigation experience required.
  • Construction litigation experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
  • Outstanding academic credentials preferred.
