Litigation Associate

A nationally recognized litigation firm with offices across the country, is seeking attorneys with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its growing California team. The firm's Los Angeles continues to experience significant growth across its Asbestos/Talc Litigation and Silica/General Liability Litigation practice groups.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys seeking meaningful litigation responsibilities, hands-on trial experience, direct partner interaction, and a flexible hybrid work environment (2 days in office).

Responsibilites

• Manage all phases of litigation
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue motions
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Prepare written discovery and discovery responses
• Communicate directly with clients and partners
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups

Qualifications

• Active California Bar License
• 3+ years of defense litigation experience
• Products liability, toxic tort, and/or general liability experinece preferred but no required
• Motion drafting experience required
• Dispositive motion experience preferred
• Strong legal writing and analytical skils
• Excellent vergal communication skills
