Litigation Associate

HumanHire is partnered with a litigation boutique firm to find a Litigation Associate to join their growing team in Newark, NJ or NYC. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated casualty and complex litigation matters.

• Pay: Up to $180K Base Salary plus Bonus
• Bonus: Up to $20K annually based on billable hours

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex litigation matters from case evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in court proceedings.
• Work directly with clients on case strategy, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
• Manage multiple matters independently while working closely with the legal team.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Litigation Attorney experience
• Experience with complex casualty, product liability, construction defect, or general liability matters
• New York and New Jersey Bar Admissions required; Pennsylvania is a plus
