Job Description
The Woodbury, Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing Litigation/Insurance Coverage practice group.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment. Our attorneys receive meaningful hands-on experience, direct client interaction, and strong mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Litigate cases as part of team, including conducting court appearances, depositions, and motion practice
- Draft legal opinions, reservations of rights and disclaimers
- Communicate directly with clients, providing proactive timely updates, legal insights, and strategic guidance throughout the case lifecycle
Qualifications
- 1+ years of litigation and/or insurance coverage experience
- JD degree with excellent academic credentials
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Base Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000
Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate's experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
